SCO Musician Highlight: Julie Bruchs

Next in our Stratus musician highlights, meet violinist Julie Bruchs! Julie has been with Stratus for 1 full year, and is excited to continue her journey with Stratus for the 2023-24 season and beyond!

Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Florida, and a Master’s in Music Education with a performance emphasis from University of Colorado, Boulder. Her love for education has led her to working with high school students, teaching orchestra, piano, and guitar.

Julie loves Maestro Adam Torres’ strong sense of perspective and musicianship, and she appreciates the group's commitment to programming diverse composers and contemporary works alongside classical music. Her favorite thing about performing in an orchestra is collaborating with other musicians, and she knows the musicians of Stratus consistently bring a high sense of professionalism and commitment to artistic excellence.
