The world premiere performance of 'Old Tin Lizzies on Fall River' on April 23, 2022, at Augustana Lutheran Church and presented by Augustana Arts, was a remarkable fusion of music and history.
Under the direction of Music Director Adam Torres, the Stratus Chamber Orchestra brought James M. David's commissioned piece to life. The video, featuring rare footage from the National Archives showcasing the construction of Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, synchronized with David's symphonic composition. This seamless blend of visuals and music transforms the performance in 2022 into an immersive journey through time, captivating the audience with its nostalgic allure and grandeur for us to enjoy today and for years to come.
