SCO Musician Highlight: Roberta Goodall
Meet Roberta Goodall, who has been with Stratus in the trumpet section for 5 years!
Roberta has a Masters degree in performance from Arizona State University. She has held positions with Central City Opera orchestra, Denver Brass, Boulder Philharmonic, Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Arizona Opera Orchestra, and was a founding member of Heavy Metal Brass Quintet in Tucson. She currently plays with The Classical Brass (quintet) and Colorado Brass (British style brass band) in addition to doing freelance work throughout the Front Range.
Besides her work as a career musician, Roberta previously enjoyed working several arts education/outreach and development administrative positions, with organizations such as Tucson Symphony, Opera Colorado and Boulder Phil. Most recently, she worked in the membership department for Colorado Public Radio. However, she is now enjoying an early retirement alongside her husband! In her free time, Roberta enjoys Wordle and crossword puzzles, cooking, birdwatching, listening to Mahler, and riding around Colorado on the back of a Harley piloted by her “biker man” husband.
Roberta loves that the musicians of Stratus are top-notch, and she feels that Stratus offers the best bang for your buck in Denver when it comes to hearing a live orchestra!
