SCO Musician Highlight: Carrie Beeder

Next, meet violinist Carrie Beeder - another of Stratus’s long-time musicians!

Carrie has been with the orchestra for 20 years. She began studying violin at the age of 8 in her public-school strings program and took her first orchestral position at the age of 18. She continued her studies at Metropolitan State College of Denver and received a B.A. in Music Performance and Music Education.

Carrie is a freelance musician, and in addition to performing with Stratus, she also enjoys musical theater and performing with her string ensemble Voice of the Wood Chamber Players.
