Join us for a good ol’ fashioned evening of live music in the great outdoors at “Relax and Unwind: No Strings Attached!” Enjoy the powerful healing music of 2 guitars and a bass with Denver’s newest ensemble, “16 Strings,” and the beautiful instrumentation of “Voice of the Wood” strings ensemble. No strings are attached at this acoustic concert, so join us at Augustana Arts for a relaxing evening of music, massages, and fun!
16 Strings is made up of Tom Virtue, Allan Ferguson, and Rick Chinisc: 3 distinguished Denver-area musicians who are coming together for this rare opportunity for you to hear them play their jazz favorites! Voice of the Wood is made up of Kathy Thayer, Carrie Beeder, Mike and Shirley Marecak, and Marilyn Hof who will perform unique arrangements created by one of the group's members.
OUTDOOR CONCERT INFORMATION
Don’t forget to bring your own blankets, chairs, and food for an evening picnic under the stars! Masks are optional for fully vaccinated musicians, staff, and audience members for outdoor rehearsals/performances only. For those who are unvaccinated, public health experts still recommend wearing a face covering in all indoor or outdoor public settings, socially distancing, and avoiding large crowds.
THIS IS A FLEX PAY CONCERT
Augustana Arts invites and welcomes everyone to enjoy a high quality concert and we don't want the ticket price to get in anyone's way of attending a live concert this summer. Therefore, ticketing is flex pay meaning that you pay what you choose from $0 to $25 per person. Please note that we still do pay our musicians to perform plus other expenses, and your donation/ticket payment of any amount is appreciated!
