Join the Stratus Chamber Orchestra as they perform Austro-German classical and romantic works by master composers—Haydn, Brahms, Mendelssohn, and C. Schumann. Plus, Stephanie Shih-you Cheng, pianist, will perform the celebrated composition written and premiered by Clara Wieck Schumann, Robert’s wife, who was considered to be one of the great pianists of the day.

Learn about the respected and very special relationships between all four composers as colleagues, family, and friends. Our Guest Conductor, Catherine Sailer, will bring their stories to life as Stratus comes together for ONE NIGHT ONLY to perform Haydn Symphony No. 19 in D Major, Brahms Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Clara Schumann Concerto for Piano in A minor, Op. 7, and Mendelssohn Overture to Ruy Blas Op. 95.
