The Augustana Arts’ 2017-18 season schedule is here and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the performance line-up for the year.  In 1997, Augustana Arts received its own 501(c)(3) status and has since dedicated itself to providing affordable access to quality musical arts in the Denver Metro area.

This year we are pleased to celebrate 20 years of musical excellence for audiences of all backgrounds, ages, and passions, and our season schedule reflects this excellence.

The Augustana Arts Concert series is set for some marvelous performances from highly esteemed musicians.  The season kicks-off in September with the popular Anima Chamber Ensemble bringing rich music to delight any audience member with their concert, Essence of the Soul.  Then, in April we are proud to bring The Queen’s Six, a six-part, male voice a capella ensemble based in Windsor Castle, United Kingdom, living and working within the Castle walls.  Finally, straight from Colorado Symphony, the Kinzie Duo will be performing for the first time on the Augustana Concert Series in their distinct style.

Our Stratus Chamber Orchestra continues its innovative “immersive” format with concerts in September, November, February and April. This immersive style is a chance to feel, hear and see up-close and personal as the Denver’s finest musicians create music.  Audience members of all ages are welcome to sit among the musicians while others are welcome to enjoy the concert in a more traditional set-up.

The Colorado Women’s Chorale and Colorado Men’s Chorale rounds out the season schedule with concerts in October, December, March, and May.  The broad range repertoire stretches from great masterwork pieces to jazz highlights.

Other wonderful additions to the season includes appearances by the Colorado Choir and Augustana Lutheran Church Chancel Choir.
