A New Tradition in Chamber Music

Catherine Sailer, Music Director

The Musica Sacra Chamber Orchestra is composed of players who share their vision of attaining the highest possible standard of excellence in musicianship. Musica Sacra is particularly well known for its engaging repertoire, encompassing chamber orchestra music from the Baroque to the avant-garde.

The orchestra proudly presents many regional premieres of the works of living composers. The musicians of the Musica Sacra Chamber Orchestra bring a rich diversity of training and performing experience to the ensemble, gained through their solo performances and membership and leadership positions in a variety of ensembles. The orchestra has a tradition of collaboration with many regional arts organizations.

Colorado Women's Chorale was founded in 2003 by Charlotte Adams, known nationally for her renowned work with women's choirs. Charlotte now focuses on broadening the exposure of quality women's choral music in Colorado while providing an outlet for adult female musicians. The Colorado Women's Chorale contributes to the cultural life of the greater Denver community and promotes awareness of the arts through performance.

As the professional vocal performance arm of the ministries of Augustana Lutheran Church in Denver Colorado, The Augustana Vocal Ensemble's concert appearances include performances at the Art Institute of Chicago, The Denver Art Museum, St. Olaf College, Coor's Field for the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, The national broadcast of the PBS Lehrer NewsHour, The National Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Winter Park Resort, and on concert series from the Western United States to England.
